Track 18: Velvet Rope by Slim Dollars

Slim Dollars, SD, or you can just simply call him Slim. He is artist and songwriter from the town they call Harlem, New York. Slim got into the music industry a few years back after he was discovered by Russell Simmons business Associate Kenny Lee. It was under Lee ( an industry veteran and mentor) he was shown the ropes of how that music industry actually works and was put to work. His musical buzz began to increase as a song titled "Get It" hit the airwaves thanks to legendary DJ Carl Blaze (RIP) of Power 105.1. Soon after that more opportunities came and he began to work on his own project but as the music industry goes Russell Simmons Music Group went through a rough patch and Slim became a free agent.So here is the problem in Harlem as he takes his music to the next level.
